Hi, I’m Sue White and I am very proud to be the founder and owner of White Wedding and Event Company. (yes, the name started as a joke but just stuck and it couldn’t really be anything else!)
We are based just outside of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate and are lucky to work with the very best venues and suppliers in Yorkshire, having spent the last 12 years building up strong and personal relationships that we know our clients’ value and trust.
My background is in retail buying, management consultancy and working in the US as a conference and events planner.
I have a wealth of business experience and knowledge, which has enabled me to become the ‘go-to’ wedding planner and a build a reputation as one of Yorkshire’s leading event planners. For many years I have also been a member of the prestigious Crystal Committee, raising money for many of Yorkshire’s charities large and small.
People ask me what makes me different as a wedding and event planner. We provide clients with inspiration, imagination, confidence and most importantly exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, but also pride ourselves on a truly personal and bespoke service - and we definitely have some fun along the way, often over a cup of coffee or glass of champagne!
I work with a regular team of truly creative and highly organised individuals, who together can deliver spectacular and memorable events, meticulously organised and with a personal touch unique to White Wedding and Events.
When I am not planning wedding and events you will find me in the gym, walking in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales or travelling the world with my family.
